Jiribam, Nov. 3 -- In view of the upcoming visit of union Minister of State for Women & Child Development Savitri Thakur, the Deputy Commissioner of Jiribam, Krishna Kumar, on Monday inspected several locations on the Minister's likely itinerary during her tour of the district on November 6.
The inspection was carried out to ensure all venues are ready for the Minister's visit and that ongoing projects reflect the government's efforts toward women and child welfare.
