Bhubaneswar, May 9 -- Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced on Friday that the preparation of the "Odisha Vision 2036" document is in its final stage.

A draft has already been prepared, and the final version will be completed after consultations with experts. Majhi expressed confidence that a prosperous Odisha will be realised by 2036.

The Chief Minister said the aim is to transform Odisha into a $500 billion economy. Steps will be taken to ensure that even the most marginalised sections of society receive access to all essential services by 2036.

Majhi made these remarks while attending the state-level 'Consultation Workshop' organized as part of the 'Vision Odisha 2036 and 2047' initiative held in Bhubaneswar.
