New Delhi, July 14 -- The Isko rock art caves, nestled in the Barkagaon block of Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district, have been formally declared a 'Monument of National Importance' by the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) under the Union Ministry of Culture.
Spread over approximately six acres, the caves are known for their exceptionally rare prehistoric rock art, making them one of India's most significant archaeological discoveries in recent decades.
