Patna, Sept. 18 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today announced the construction of prefabricated warehouses across seven blocks in Kishanganj district to strengthen foodgrain storage and distribution infrastructure.

Choudhary said here that the project, costing Rs 27.65 crore, will create a total storage capacity of 9,500 metric tonnes.

He said that the warehouses will come up in Bahadurganj Nagar Panchayat, Mangura Panchayat of Dighalbank block, Chakla Panchayat in Ghoda Mar Mauza of Kishanganj block, Kochadhaman Panchayat, Badhura Panchayat in Pouakhali Mauza of Pothia block, Dahibhat Panchayat of Terhagachh block, and Godhra Panchayat in Thakurganj block.
