Bhubaneshwar, Jan. 29 -- Experts espousing the cause of women rights activists on Thursday emphasised the importance of pre-marital communication for strengthening the foundation of marriage, observing that in today's challenging social context, where the institution of marriage is increasingly under strain over minor issues.
They highlighted that young couples should engage in open communication, understand each other's expectations, and cultivate mutual respect and empathy before entering into marriage.
They stressed the pre-marital communication link and sharing of opinion during the inauguration of a Pre-Marital Communication Centre (PMCC) in Bhubaneswar, under the mentorship of the National Commission for Women (NCW).
