Mumbai, Oct. 29 -- A major cleanup drive at Juhu Beach saw 400 volunteers remove nearly 2,000 kilograms of plastic waste today morning in an initiative organised by Project Mumbai. The effort served as a precursor to Mumbai Climate Week, which Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis recently announced for February 2026 as India's first climate platform representing the Global South.

Conducted under Project Mumbai's "Jallosh: Clean Coasts, Restore The Shore" campaign, the event marked the first preparatory activity for the upcoming climate conference.
