Ranchi, Dec. 1 -- The Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) announced that Pre-Board 1 examinations for Classes X and XII commenced on Monday across the state's CM Schools of Excellence, with 13,436 students appearing on the first day.
A total of 98 per cent attendance was recorded, reflecting strong enthusiasm and confidence among students.
Exams were conducted in 76 schools for Class 10 and 71 schools for Class 12, with Class 10 students appearing for Science, and Class 12 students writing Physics, Geography and Business Studies papers.
Strict adherence to CBSE's Standard Operating Procedures was ensured to prevent malpractice, and necessary facilities including drinking water were provided.
