Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 20 -- Praveen Kumar Vasantha Ramachandran has taken charge as the Regional Director of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Thiruvananthapuram, with jurisdiction over the State of Kerala and the union Territory of Lakshadweep.
Prior to assuming his present role, he served as Chief General Manager in the Secretary's Department at the RBI Central Office in Mumbai.
Praveen Kumar joined the Reserve Bank of India in 1997 and has worked at the Central Office in Mumbai as well as at the Regional Offices in Thiruvananthapuram and Jaipur. He has gained wide-ranging experience in key functional areas, particularly Human Resource Management, Currency Management and Banking Supervision.
