Patna, Nov. 22 -- After crushing defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, the Prashant Kishor-led Jan Suraaj Party has dissolved its organisational structure from the panchayat level to the state level with immediate effect. A new organisational setup will be created over the next one-and-a-half months.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the party's National Council held on Saturday in Patna in the presence of party founder Prashant Kishor. The meeting was chaired by State President Manoj Bharti.
Party spokesperson Syed Masih Uddin said that the dissolved committees would continue to perform their duties until the new organisation is formed.
