Bengaluru, Nov. 17 -- Former India cricketer Venkatesh Prasad, who is contesting for the Karnataka Cricket League (KCL) presidency, stirred controversy on Monday by sharply criticising the deferment of elections, the potential nomination of a non-cricketer candidate, and what he described as mismanagement in Karnataka cricket administration.
Speaking to the media, Prasad expressed his shock over the repeated postponement of the KCL elections, initially scheduled for September 30 and later shifted to November 30, now possibly deferred beyond December 30.
