Bengaluru, Nov. 21 -- KSCA strongman Brijesh Patel on Friday dismissed Venkatesh Prasad's charge of "backseat driving," arguing that Prasad's own group and senior icons like Kumble and Srinath were themselves operating from the sidelines instead of contributing on the ground.

"That's exactly what I said in my speech - these so-called "Game Changers" are also doing backseat driving. They may be sitting in the front, but they are only doing backseat work," he told reporters just days before a high-stakes KSCA election.

Brijesh questioned why iconic former players were not "coming forward to work on the ground," arguing that external commentary or criticism carried limited value.
