Hyderabad, Nov. 4 -- A team of specialists at Prasad Hospitals, Nacharam, successfully performed a complex Carotid Web Stenting procedure, saving the life of a 62-year-old man suffering from a rare vascular condition that can lead to recurrent and fatal brain strokes if left untreated.

The patient, Gowtham Rama Krishna, a resident of Bengaluru, had approached several hospitals in his city but was denied treatment due to the complexity of his case. He later came to Prasad Hospitals, Hyderabad, after suffering an ischemic stroke caused by blockage in the artery supplying blood to the brain.
