Bengaluru, Nov. 11 -- Former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad on Tuesday announced that he will contest for the post of president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), unveiling his Team Game Changers slate and vowing to bring transparency, accountability, and an end to decades of "backseat control" in the state's cricket administration.
Addressing the media, Prasad said Karnataka cricket had suffered under prolonged centralised control. "Brijesh Patel has been running the association for 28 years from behind the scenes. He's a good cricketer and administrator, but what's the point in controlling everything from behind? It's a back seat driving syndrome," he said.
