Lucknow, Oct. 1 -- Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Pramod Tiwari, launched a scathing attack on the Modi-led central government over the recent hike in domestic LPG cylinder prices.
Terming it a "harsh burden" on the middle and poor classes, Tiwari on Wednesday criticized the timing of the hike- Rs 16 per cylinder, just ahead of major Indian festivals like Dussehra and Diwali.
"This price hike has exposed the reality behind Prime Minister Modi's so-called GST savings festival," Tiwari said.
