Pune, Sept. 6 -- Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi chief Prakash Ambedkar has appealed to the economically weaker section of the Maratha community to demand a separate reservation instead of seeking it under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) quota.
He further urged that, in the future, both Maratha and OBC voters should support pro-reservation candidates and elect them. Ambedkar made this appeal while addressing the concluding rally of the "Jab Morcha" organized at Baramati under the leadership of OBC leader Prof. Laxman Hake.
