Bengaluru, Sept. 29 -- Expelled JD(S) leader and former MP Prajwal Revanna has approached the Karnataka High Court challenging his life imprisonment conviction for allegedly raping a domestic worker at a house in Holenarasipur, Banashankari.
On August 2, the trial court had sentenced Revanna to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 11.60 lakh. In his petition, he has sought to set aside both the conviction and the fine, citing legal grounds for appeal. The case is now pending before the High Court.
