Panaji, July 4 -- Union Minister of State for Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel on Thursday assured all support from the Central ministry to Goa's tourism infrastructure projects and has agreed to visit Goa for commissioning the centrally funded tourism projects once completed.

According to a statement from Tourism Department here, Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Chairman Dayanand Sopte called on Mr Patel along with Secretary, Tourism, J Ashok Kumar, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Vinay Tendulkar and others in New Delhi to discuss matters pertaining to central funding for tourism projects and development of Colva beach as an iconic tourism destination.
