Agartala, Nov. 8 -- Amid ongoing stress and hostility between the partners, Tripura's ruling BJP's ally in government, TIPRA Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarman last night held a meeting with Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, and discussed the progress of the Tiprasa accord.

Debbarman expressed optimism, noting that the discussions were "moving ahead positively." The accord, established earlier this year through a tripartite agreement involving the Centre, the state government, and Motha, aims to address the socio-political issues faced by indigenous communities.
