Agartala, Nov. 28 -- In a bid to enhance the healthcare delivery system in tribal areas, ruling TIPRA Motha founder and Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) executive member Pradyot Kishore Debbarman on Thursday launched six Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding from Apollo Hospitals and the Altius Group.
In the inauguration, Debbarman stressed the significance of providing medical services directly to village communities. He pointed out that the mobile units would alleviate the burden on residents who often travel long distances to Agartala for basic medical care.
