Agartala, Dec. 21 -- Ruling BJP's ally in Tripura government, TIPRA Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Doberman, on Sunday urged the union Government to take strong and decisive measures to safeguard Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.
He demanded halting the entry of Bangladeshi nationals into India and suspending visa services. Pradyot voiced his concern regarding the treatment of Hindu Bengalis in Bangladesh, alleging that they are being systematically targeted and killed.
He stated prominent leaders in Bangladesh are openly advocating for the closure of the Indian embassy and making statements about occupying the Northeast. Some are even demanding that Sheikh Hasina be surrendered to Bangladesh.
