Shimla, Oct. 1 -- The Himachal Pradesh government has appointed former Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena as the new Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh State Power Board. Saxena, who retired as Chief Secretary last evening, will hold the post in the rank of Chief Secretary.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Gupta, who was serving as Chairman of the Electricity Board, has been transferred and appointed as Chairman of the State Pollution Control Board.
According to a government notification, Kamlesh Kumar Pant has been relieved of the additional charge. Gupta, however, will continue to serve as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Ropeway and Rapid Transport System Development Corporation until further orders.
