London, Sept. 10 -- Ange Postecoglou has been appointed head coach of Nottingham Forest, following the dismissal of Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Australian will make his debut in the dugout when Forest visits Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday and is expected to be joined by several members of his former Tottenham Hotspur coaching staff.
The 60-year-old, who left Spurs in June shortly after guiding them to Europa League glory, quickly emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Nuno at the City Ground.
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis welcomed the appointment.
