Lucknow, Aug. 21 -- A Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posted at the Mahanagar post office in Lucknow was found dead today. The deceased, identified as Ankit, was discovered in a room on the roof of the post office premises where he was residing alone.
When staff members arrived at the post office in the morning and did not see him, they checked his room, which was locked from the inside. After receiving no response to repeated knocks, they looked through the window and found him unresponsive. Authorities were immediately informed.
