Mumbai, Oct. 17 -- A meeting of representatives of the All India Contract Workers Federation and Contractor Workers union (affiliated - Indian Workers Union) was held today at the Office of the Labour Commissioner, Mumbai (Bandra), in the presence of Ganesh Tathe, Chairman - Minimum Wage Advisory Board (State Minister rank, Maharashtra State).
The meeting involved detailed and positive discussions regarding pending issues in the implementation of minimum wages and the creation of a separate pay scale for electricity workers, said release today.
