Kohima, Aug. 27 -- Kohima DC B Henok Buchem today said National Highway 29 at Chainage KM 175.350, near the Old KMC dumping site, will remain temporarily closed for all forms of vehicular movement with immediate effect until further notice.
The stretch of the road was damaged by landslides recently.
In an order, Buchem said the condition of the affected portion of the highway was thoroughly assessed by the authorities and found to be unfit for vehicular traffic.
