Thiruvananthapuram, April 25 -- Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Friday opined that the Pope Francis lived a life true to his teachings, and that his life was his message to humanity.
He said this while speaking at the remembrance ceremony on Pope Francis at Lourdes Church here.
Noting that Pope's life was unconventional in its simplicity and humility, the Governor said "the biggest tribute that we can give, is to lead a life abjuring hatred and promoting brotherhood."
'Service unto man is service to Lord' was his motto, and we have to determine ourselves with renewed commitment, he added.
