Hyderabad, April 16 -- Telangana BC Welfare and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday strongly condemned the alleged remarks made by BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Telangana, demanding immediate action and an unconditional apology.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, the Minister paid tributes to the martyrs of the Telangana movement and said the comments were a grave insult to the sacrifices made for achieving statehood.
He asserted that questioning the formation of Telangana amounts to disrespecting the Constitution and the democratic process through which the state was created.
