Pondy Univ unveils roadmap to achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2035

Chennai, Oct. 7 -- The Pondicherry University today unveileda roadmao to achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2035.

This landmark report titled "Pondicherry University Roadmap forNet Zero Carbon 2035", was unveiled during the InternationalConference on Energy and Water for Sustainable Environment(ICEWSE) 2025.

The report charts a bold, forward-looking strategy for the Universityto eliminate or offset its carbon emissions and establish itself asa model of institutional leadership in climate action, well ahead ofIndia's national commitment to achieve Net Zero by 2070.
