Pondy Univ Professor receives SDG Visionary Women award.

Puducherry, March 20 -- Prof. B. Charumathi, Professor of Management Studies at Pondicherry University, has been honoured with the SDG Visionary Women Award 2026 in the category of National Inclusive Impact Leader.

According to a University release, the award was instituted by KSR College of Engineering in collaboration with IEEE Women in Engineering.

The award recognises Prof. Charumathi's contributions towards advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through her research, academic leadership, and entrepreneurship initiatives. Prof. Charumathi's research focuses on areas such as ESG governance, climate disclosure, gender diversity in corporate leadership, and corporate social justice reporting.
