Puducherry, Jan. 26 -- Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi on Sunday called up on the people of the union territory to continue their support and contribution in evolving Puducherry into a full-fledged to make developed Union Territory.
In her address distributed at the Republic Day function here,the Lt.Governor said that the administration propose to implement "Parambaragath Kirshi Vikas Yogana' in Puducherry to encourage organic farming and added that a new scheme "Financial Assistance to Farmer Producer Companies' will be implemented to provide subsidy to farmer producer organizations(FPOs) to supply paddy and vegetable seeds to farmers.
