Pune, Jan. 14 -- A candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Ward No 26 of the city, Sneha Kalate feels that politics is an effective instrument for public service, and with the objective of serving citizens on a larger scale, she entered the municipal election arena.
A young and highly educated candidate, Kalate is contesting an election for the first time, but comes from a strong family background rooted in both politics and social service. The urban body elections in Maharashtra is scheduled for January 15.
