Thiruvananthapuram, April 9 -- Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly V. D. Satheesan on Thursday exuded strong confidence that the United Democratic Front (UDF) will storm to power in Kerala with a massive mandate of over 100 seats.

Talking to newspersons after casting his vote along with his family at Paravur Kesari College, Satheesan said the political mood across the state has decisively shifted in favour of the UDF.

Citing national survey trends, he claimed that most polls predict a comfortable victory for the UDF, while dismissing certain local surveys as "fabricated" and lacking credibility. "We will respond to those after the polling is over. They have already lost their trustworthiness," he remarked.
