Patna, Aug. 28 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lodged an FIR at Kotwali Police Station in Patna today, protesting against the use of abusive language and the alleged insult directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, the Congress party distanced itself from the incident, describing it as the handiwork of some anti-social elements.

In the FIR, Bihar BJP Media In-Charge Danish Iqbal stated that a video clip, posted on the social media platform 'X', purportedly recorded during the Mahagathbandhan's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra', shows abusive language being used against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the stage.
