Nagpur, Dec. 10 -- A political storm erupted during the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly's winter session after Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) leader Ambadas Danve released a video alleging that it showed a ruling alliance MLA sitting with piles of cash. The video, shared on platform X, triggered sharp reactions and demands for clarification from opposition parties.
In his post, Danve urged viewers to identify the MLA seen in the footage and questioned why bags containing large amounts of currency were present. He contrasted the scene with the government's stated inability to waive farmers' loans and demanded answers from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
