Imphal, Dec. 27 -- : A conclave of political parties held here on Saturday decided to demand proper census activities before the delimitation exercise in Manipur. The conclave held at Lamyanba Shanglen, Imphal discussed the perculiar problems faced by Manipur regarding delimitation exercise.
During the conclave organised by the Campaign for Just and Fair Delimitation (JFD) , representatives of political parties, experts spoke on the issue. Renowned demographer R.K. Narendra, former Professor and Head of Bio-Statistics at RIMS, moderated the session. JFD convenor Jeetendra Ningomba presided over the meeting.
