Gaya, March 27 -- Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Neeraj Kumar committed suicide by firing on his head from
service revolver in police line in Gaya district of Bihar on Friday.
Police said here that Neeraj fired on his head from his service revolver, killing self on the spot. His body was found in premises of police line while service revolver was found near the body, police informed.
" Family members of the deceased have been informed about the incident ", police said adding that reason behind the suicide was being investigated. Neeraj had joined duty after a long leave of 39 days and he had been allegedly suffering from some family troubles, police informed.
" Body would be handed to family members after postmortem", police stated.
