Ayodhya, Sept. 2 -- Ayodhya police have claimed to have solved the case involving the tragic death of a 19-year-old Dalit girl, following the arrest of the main accused during an encounter on Monday morning.
The accused, identified as Rajiv Yadav, reportedly opened fire at the police team during the operation. In the exchange, he sustained a gunshot injury to his leg. He was taken into custody and is currently receiving treatment in a hospital. Police officials stated that during initial questioning, the accused confessed to his involvement in the incident.
