Kangra, Sept. 13 -- Indora Police of this district arrested a youth allegedly a notorious drug smuggler and recovered 262 grams of heroine, worth Rs. 15 Lakhs, from his possession during a raid at his house.
The raid was conducted following a tip off in Dhamota village falling under Indora Police station of Nurpur Police district, Police said here today .
Indora Sub Divisional Police Officer Sanjeev Kumar told UNI on Friday that it was on a tip off that a police team raided the house of the accused smuggler Rohit Kumar at Dhamota village which is located on the Punjab Border.
DSP Indora Sanjeev Kumar said that the accused was arrested under different sections of NDPS Act following the seizure of 262 grams of heroin from his residence.
