Jammu, April 17 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday attached property belonging to a drug peddler as part of the ongoing 'Nasha Mukt Jammu-Kashmir' campaign in Udhampur district.
The police reaffirmed their commitment to the campaign, emphasizing intensified action against drug trafficking alongside sustained awareness initiatives aimed at protecting the youth from substance abuse.
Authorities have attached movable property worth approximately Rs 12 lakh belonging to notorious drug peddler Rakesh Kumar of Bishnah, District Jammu, under the NDPS Act.
The seized assets include a luxurious car with a fake registration number, which was purchased using proceeds from illegal narcotics trade.
