Police seek Look-Out notice against absconding accused in Basti Codeine case

Basti, Dec. 24 -- In connection with the codeine-related case registered at Purani Basti police station, the police have sent a report to the Bureau of Immigration seeking issuance of a Look-Out Circular (LOC) against an absconding accused.

Once the LOC is issued, surveillance will be initiated at international airports and seaports to ensure that the accused, Ritvik Goyal, does not leave the country under any circumstances, officials confirmed on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, in another case registered at Kotwali police station, teams have begun searching for Pankaj Kumar, proprietor of M/s Ganpati Pharma, who is also absconding.
