Nashik, Sept. 19 -- A special team of Nashik police recovered 603 mobile phones worth Rs 1.13 crore that were lost or stolen in various crimes and incidents.

All these mobile phones were returned to the complainants and original owners of the mobile phones by the police commissionerate yesterday.

In the last few months, hundreds of crimes such as snatching of mobile phones, stealing mobile phones placed in windows or offices for charging, as well as complaints of missing items were registered in all 13 police stations under the city police jurisdiction.
