Srinagar, April 28 -- Srinagar Police on Monday conducted extensive searches at 36 locations across the city at the residences of Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and terrorist associates of proscribed terrorist outfits and in the furtherance of investigation into cases registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
The Monday searches were conducted days after residences of 63 OGWS and militant associates were raided in Srinagar district.
The crackdown against militants and their sympathizers have gathered pace in wake of Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 that left 26 civilians dead.
