Pune, Oct. 6 -- A police team raided the residence of notorious gangster Nilesh Ghaywal, who has fled to London using fake documents.

During the raid, police seized bullets, land documents (7/12 tracts), property papers, and documents related to a windmill project in Beed.

Three cars parked outside Ghaywal's house were also seized, one of which was found to have a fake number plate.

Separate cases have been registered against him for possessing illegal weapons and using forged vehicle registration details. Ghaywal is booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

Following the Kothrud firing incident, police had filed MCOCA cases against Ghaywal and members of his gang.
