Jammu, July 1 -- Local Police on Tuesday arrested an unauthorised 'pithu' operator during routine patrolling near Sameer Point on Shri Mata Vaishno Devi track in Katra town of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that continuing its vigil and enforcement of regulatory orders on the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi track, one unauthorized 'Pithu' operator was arrested during routine patrolling near Sameer Point.
The person was stopped for checking and identified himself as Imtyaz Ahmed of Budhan, Tehsil Thuroo, District Reasi but when asked to present his valid 'Pithu' service card, he admitted that he did not have any registration or permission to work as operator.
