Patna, Dec. 14 -- Police on Saturday resorted to lathicharge to disperse the students
agitating in protest against the gang rape on the second consecutive day in the state
capital.
According to police, the students made violent protest due to which the vehicular traffic
got stuck near Kargil Chowck in the state capital for nearly three hours. The agitating
students also pelted stones at the police personnel trying to convince the protestors.
Two police personnel were injured in the stone pelting incident.
Meanwhile, the students wing of Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) and All India
students Association (AISA) joined the protest against the gang rape that took place
recently in the Patliputra Colony locality.
