Kaithal, Sept. 12 -- During the hearing of a murder case, a special court here today ordered the investigation officer Inspector Rajesh Kumar to be detained for an hour for being continuously absent from the testimony during past hearings of the case in the court.
According to the information, Inspector Rajesh Kumar who is currently posted as SHO in Badabudha police station of Sirsa district, is accused of not coming to testify despite being called by the court several times.
For this reason, the court had issued non-bailable warrants against him on August 29.
When he reached the court for testimony on Thursday, he was ordered to be kept in custody.
