Srinagar, July 11 -- Police in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir today attached immovable property worth over Rs 3.59 crores, identifying it as proceeds of terrorism.
The property belonged to Hashir Rafiq Parray a resident of Patushay village in Bandipora.
Police said the attachment was carried out under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in connection with FIR No. 168/2022 registered at Police Station Bandipora.
The case also invokes sections of the Explosive Substances Act and the E&IMCO Act.
The attached property included, an agricultural land measuring one Kanal and 18.5 Marlas across various survey numbers and a residential house located in Patushay village.
