Srinagar, March 1 -- J&K police have unraveled a well-planned criminal conspiracy involving the planting of narcotics in Srinagar, resulting in the arrest of four individuals under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act
The operation, which unfolded over the past week, began with a tip-off on February 4, and has exposed a calculated plot driven by greed and revenge, a police statement said.
The case originated when advocate Yusha Yousuf Mir, a resident of Bakshipora Noorbagh, Srinagar, contacted Police Station Shaheed Gunj with information about a vehicle being parked in Karan Nagar, raising suspicion.
A raid, conducted with a magistrate, led to the recovery of 452 grams of a charas-like substance from the vehicle. The owner...
