Chitradurga, Dec. 26 -- Police has confirmed that six people, including a five-year-old child, were killed and at least a dozen others injured when a container truck rammed into a private sleeper bus in Karnataka's Chitradurga district on Thursday early hours.
The accident occurred around 2 am when the sleeper bus, travelling from Bengaluru to Gokarna with 33 passengers on board, was hit by a speeding container truck that allegedly lost control, jumped the road divider and collided with the bus coming from the opposite direction.
