Srinagar, Nov. 28 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday conducted searches in madrassas and masjids across the city aimed at preventing unlawful, conspiratorial and radical activities.
The searches, police said, were part of an ongoing crackdown against individuals and networks associated with terrorist organisations and to dismantle the terror support ecosystem in the region and strengthen de-radicalisation efforts.
Police said search teams, accompanied by Executive Magistrates and independent witnesses, inspected several premises to collect evidence related to terror-linked or radical activities inimical to the security and integrity of the Nation.
